Multi-Layer Infrastructure Network Response and Resilience under Hurricane Disasters
Abstract: This Activity Group (AG) examines multi-layer infrastructure resilience to hurricanes, focusing on interdependencies among transportation, critical infrastructure, human behavior, and environmental systems across disaster phases. The AG will host a three-part webinar series in spring 2026, two expert talks and a cross-sector panel, to support interdisciplinary exchange. Insights from these discussions and targeted literature synthesis will inform a state-of-the-art review and a research proposal to the NSF CPS Foundations and Connected Communities program.
